Making ordinary hours count

I like to read a bit of “the things you can only see when you slow down” by Haemin Sunim when I wake up early. Today I read this and it is striking a chord with me as I feel a lot of the time I’m worrying about my life slipping away to the mundane now I work almost completely full time

There are many more ordinary hours in life than extraordinary ones.

We wait in line at the supermarket.

We spend hours commuting to work.

We water our plants and feed our pets.

Happiness means finding a moment of Joy in those ordinary hours.

This I will take with me today and try and find joy.

Daisy-do is one of our beautiful piggles, she reminds me of Jeff Goldblum!
