As I reach another birthday, all too aware that the big 4-0 gets closer and closer, I keep thinking more and more about who I am and what I want from life. What I have achieved so far, and where I want to be by the time I am that number. I have decided I want to blog again like I used to back before I had children. Back when LiveJournal was a thing. I miss LiveJournal.
Hi! I’m Sarah. I’m a mum of 2 girls. That is how my introduction always starts now,
mum becomes a defining characteristic. They occupy a lot of my time and my brain space, so I guess that it is fitting that they get a starring role in my brief introductory autobiography.
However, this year was a year of changes. After a fairly static (almost) decade of home working, I returned to office life earlier this year. I am a Web Developer, although rusty so excuse me while I get to grips with WordPress and all things visual.

I enjoy watching a bit of telly, autumn is my favourite season, just generally anyway (i mean hello, it’s my birthday?), here in the UK it is simply delightful to have Bake Off on a Tuesday and then Strictly on Saturday and Sunday nights to cosy up to. The clocks go back, you settle in with tea and cake, it helps to countdown to Christmas, just fab-u-lous.
I’m also a bit of a bargain hunter (always have been, my parents would think nothing of dragging me out at 6am every Sunday to check out the boot sale, or to have a stall at one), I love looking in the shops and online, finding fabulous bargains, and especially good if I can get a hot deal on HotUKDeals and feel like a superstar for the day.
Hopefully that will give you an idea of who I am, and I look forward to knowing about you as well dear reader!
